100 days to go until the 103rd edition of the Qatar Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe

In exactly 100 days, the grandstands of the historic ParisLongchamp racecourse will be filled with spectators from all over the world, who will have come to watch the world’s greatest horse race: the Qatar Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe.
A highly prestigious international race at ParisLongchamp
It is the pinnacle of international horseracing: in just 100 days’ time, some of the world’s most talented thoroughbreds will run the Qatar Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe, which is reputed to be the world’s greatest horse race.
The line-up for this historic challenge, which has thrilled the racing world for over a century, will feature exceptional horses that have travelled from across the globe especially for the occasion. These champions will perform in front of 35,000 supporters from all over the world. The atmosphere will be electric in the grandstands of ParisLongchamp racecourse, which will echo with the cheers of delighted racegoers.
The Qatar Prix de L’Arc de Triomphe is broadcast live in 60 countries and around 250 international journalists will be on site to cover this prestigious race day.
An outstanding celebration in a fun and friendly atmosphere
The panting horses, thundering hooves on the turf, jockeys parading around the paddock and euphoric spectators urging the competitors down the final straight make this an experience like no other! Immerse yourself in the intensity and excitement of the world’s greatest horse race!
Enjoy a host of entertainment rolled out on the racecourse, such as the marching band, Republican Guard, Arc de Triomphe photocall with the race trophy, and even a special Derby contest, for a lively day out with your family or friends.
And the fun does not stop at the end of the races. The racing action on both the Saturday and the Sunday will be rounded off with some music, offering spectators the opportunity to enjoy a drink with their friends until the racecourse closes at 9.30pm.
Plenty of refreshments for all appetites
To cater for the 35,000 French and international spectators expected over the weekend of 5th and 6th October 2024, ParisLongchamp racecourse will serve up a wide range of refreshment options.
France’s culinary expertise will be showcased on the racecourse during this weekend-long event. The panoramic restaurant on the ParisLongchamp rooftop, the brasserie by the parade ring, the Bistrot Triomphe and the French capital’s largest food garden will have something for all appetites. An immense 300m2 bar will serve Gallia beer, which is brewed locally in the Paris region.

So you can experience the thrill of horse racing, France Galop is offering tickets for the Qatar Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe weekend starting at just €10 for the Saturday and €20 for the Sunday. Entry is free of charge for children under 12.
