20 jobs as Affidea opens medical clinic in Dublin
Healthcare company Affidea has officially opened a new diagnostics clinic in Charlestown, North Dublin leading to the creation of 20 jobs.
The purpose-built centre hosts two new MRI systems as well as X-ray, ultrasound services and treatment rooms.
Operating seven days a week, Affidea Charlestown has capacity for over 30,000 patients a year.
Affidea operates 19 clinical facilities on the island of Ireland employing 450 staff.
Affidea Ireland, established in 2007, is part of the European group, Affidea, which has 360 medical centres across 16 countries.
Affidea Ireland Chief Executive Barry Downes said a full team of radiographers and medical specialists will be on hand at its new Charlestown clinic.
“The purpose-built centre will provide access to Affidea’s full suite of diagnostic services for the local and wider community,” Mr Downes said.
