Former tennis ace Genie Bouchard hoses herself down wearing green bikini after Miami ‘yard work’
Tennis star Eugenie “Genie” Bouchard recently caught the internet’s attention by posting photos of herself doing yard work in a skimpy bikini bikini.
The 29-year-old athlete shared a series of Instagram photos where she is seen trimming hedges and working with garden tools, adding a playful caption about her unconventional gardening attire. Known for her prominent social media presence and humorous engagement with fans, Bouchard‘s post quickly went viral, drawing admiration and comments from her followers.
The Canadian tennis player often shares glimpses of her life off the court, combining her athleticism with a flair for fashion and lifestyle content.
This time, she posed in a green bikini and showed off her toned physique while hosing herself down at her Miami home, as temperatures soared in the Sunshine State.
“Sundays are for yard work,” Bouchard wrote, next to a photo of her raking leaves and watering the grass at her Florida residence.
Former tennis player Sam Querrey, now a professional pickleball athlete, responded with a sarcastic joke in the comments section.
“I was actually thinking of doing a similar photo montage later this week,” Querrey said, tongue in cheek.
Eugenie Bouchard addresses her ‘sex appeal’
Bouchard’s post comes hot off the heels from her recent admission that her sex appeal in tennis helped her grow her career.
After reaching as high as fifth in the WTA world rankings, Bouchard also played in the Wimbledon final in 2014 before losing to Petra Kvitova.
“Tennis, first of all, is a great sport for that sex appeal side,” Bouchard said in an interview with YouTuber Valeria Lipovetsky. “We’re wearing short skirts, we’re wearing tank tops. It’s fun to turn on the TV and watch that.
“Right away, I was able to get great marketing deals off the court. Being asked to be in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition a few times. Exploring that path was definitely on my to-do list. It’s definitely part of who I am because I think it’s great.”
Bouchard last competed at the Guadalajara Open in 2023 where she lost to Veronika Kudermetova and announced she would competing in the Pickeball Tour in 2024, as she explores a life outside of the tennis court.
