Cliftonville Football Club » McDonagh departs

Cliftonville FC offers best wishes to Jamie McDonagh following his departure from the Club by mutual consent.

Jamie moved to Solitude from Glentoran in the summer of 2021 and scored nine goals in 89 appearances for the Reds, with whom he won the League Cup and helped book European qualification in his first season.

Having spent the last campaign on loan at both Glenavon and Newry City, the 28-year-old moves on with the thanks and best wishes of everyone at Cliftonville.

Another player to whom the Club extends thanks is defender Eric Yoro, who spent the second half of the 2023/24 campaign on loan from Bolton Wanderers.

Though he found his game time limited, we trust that he enjoyed his experience at Solitude and wish him well for his future career.
