Ryan Tubridy looks smitten as he steps out in public with his girlfriend

EX-RTE star Ryan Tubridy looked more in love than ever as he stepped out in public with his girlfriend.

The Dublin native is currently on a two week holiday from his hosting gig at Virgin Radio UK as to give his listeners a “break from him and him from them”.

The popular presenter attended the formal opening of the new Brand Home for The Muff Liquor Company in Donegal last night.

The gin, whiskey and vodka company’s new brand home was formally launched in the border village of Muff by Russell Crowe and Boyzone legend Ronan Keating, while Ed Sheeran and Jimmy Carr are among the high-profile investors.

Ryan and the rest of the ‘ Muff Liquor Men’ toasted a new chapter of the Irish spirits brand with a brave brand name and a daring backstory.

The 51-year-old brought his girlfriend, Dr. Clare Kambamettu, who he went public with last year, to the event.

The couple looked smitten as they wrapped their arms around each other for a stunning snap together.

Clare got all dolled up wearing a red and white polka dot midi dress, brown leather jacket and white sandals.

While Ryan stunned in beige trousers, a light blue shirt, a black blazer and brown shoes.

They smiled from ear-to-ear in front of a sign that said: “The craic is here.”

Ryan also posed for some snaps alongside Russell Crowe and Ronan Keating.

The Gladiators star said he likes to enjoy his Muff the simple way: “I like it simple, I’ve been doing a mixture of passionfruit and pineapple in the sunshine, it’s a great combination.”

The Muff Liquor Company was set up by Donegal woman Laura Bonner in 2017.

The inspiration for the handcrafted liquor range came from Laura’s grandfather, Philip McClenaghan.

He was a Donegal potato farmer and poitin maker, and for a man who lived to be 100 years old, perhaps there’s a secret in his craft.

On the attraction to Muff, Crowe said it was all about the story, he said: “When I heard the story of ‘ole Phil I just got really attracted to the product and that really sealed the idea for me.

“It’s a great product and the story is a fantastic story that will travel from place to place and country to country. I just wanted to be part of that.

“One of the most important parts is making sure that we have a footprint in Muff so the people of Muff could be involved.

“When people can connect to the product they have a personal pride and I think that’s really important.”
