Line Friends Square Shibuya | Shopping in Shibuya, Tokyo

Ever since the Line Friends store in Harajuku closed in 2022, we’ve been wondering when the adorable shop would return to Tokyo. Well, the wait is finally over as a brand new Line Friends location has opened in Shibuya, and it’s bigger and better than its predecessor. 

The massive store has a lot of fun surprises spread out across its three floors. Upon entry you’ll come across the Line Friends permanent collections, including the ever-popular BT21 collab designed by BTS. The second floor is a dedicated pop-up zone where you can shop for exclusive collabs and collections including the current pop-up with K-pop superstars NewJeans (until July 15). Also on this floor is a fun photo zone where you can snap some memorable pics with the ongoing pop-up themes.

Head to the basement and you’ll find another shopping area as well as DX Square, an interactive media zone and experiential space where you can immerse yourself in the world of Line’s characters and collaborating artists. DX Square is currently showcasing a NewJeans x Takashi Murakami collab, and you can watch NewJeans music videos and special video messages from the girls.
