Bronny James had one embarrassing moment during his NBA Summer League debut
Bronny James made his highly-anticipated professional debut on Saturday, playing in the Los Angeles Lakers‘ first NBA Summer League game. James started and played 22 minutes, watching Los Angeles fall to the Sacramento Kings.
James had a tough game shooting-wise, making just 2 of 9 shots and missing all of his three-point attempts and free throws. He did chip in with 2 rebounds, 2 assists and a steal, but it wasn’t a great start for him.

Making matters worse was a specific play in which he got crossed up by Adonis Arms.
Arms didn’t just give it to Bronny; he went off to the tune of 32 points on 70.6% shooting from the field. He outshined everyone, including Bronny and Lakers first round pick Dalton Knecht.
James is actually dealing with some swelling in his left knee following the game and has been ruled out of the following Summer League game for precautionary reasons. He’s expected back on Wednesday to face the Miami Heat.
