Rory McIlroy and wife Erica were all smiles as they attended dinner with some of the Ryder Cup heroes in London on Sunday evening.
The pair have hit the headlines in recent weeks after it was announced that they had filed divorce proceedings but news broke on the even of last month’s US Open that they had called off the divorce.
McIlroy has kept a low profile since his heartbreaking US Open defeat to Bryson DeChambeau but is now back this side of the Atlantic as he prepares for the upcoming Open Championship.

And the four-time major winner and wife Erica were all smiles as they met up with some of Rory’s Ryder Cup teammates on Sunday evening.
McIlroy was joined by fellow Irishman Shane Lowry and wife Wendy as well as teammates Tyrrell Hatton, Tommy Fleetwood, Nicolai Hojgaard, and captain Luke Donald as well as some of their partners.
The Holywood man explained his decision to call off the divorce, saying at the time: “There have been rumours about my personal life recently, which is unfortunate. Responding to each rumour is a fool’s game. Over the past weeks, Erica and I have realised that our best future was as a family together. Thankfully, we have resolved our differences and look forward to a new beginning.”
McIlroy has not teed it up in competitive golf since last month’s US Open when he suffered a heartbreaking one-shot loss to Bryson DeChambeau after missing short putts on holes 16 and 18. McIlroy has said that he plans to defend his Scottish Open crown this week before traveling to Royal Troon in an effort to win his first major title in 10 years.
