Ryanair agrees booking partnership with Etrevali

Ryanair has agreed a booking partnership with online travel group, Etrevali.

Etrevali is an online booking platform that includes well-known online travel agent (OTA) brands like Mytrip, Gotogate and Flightnetwork.

The so-called ‘OTA agreement’ gives the group authorisation to offer Ryanair flights as part of its holiday packages and flights.

It comes just days after the airline struck another deal with booking giant, lastminute.com.

It was the latest in a series of OTA partnership agreements announced by Ryanair in recent months.

Other deals have included eSky, On the Beach, and TUI.

“This latest deal guarantees consumers who book Ryanair flights through Etraveli Group´s platforms, that their correct contact and payment info is provided to Ryanair, ensuring that they have access to their myRyanair account and receive important flight information directly process,” Ryanair said in a statement.

Ryanair had accused multiple websites of adding illegitimate extra charges and launched a series of court cases against them.

The airline trimmed its profit forecast after some online travel agents suddenly stopped selling its flights late last year.
