Gardaí stand down search for missing Offaly man after sad update

Gardaí have released a sad update in relation to missing person, Michael Dwyer of Tullamore, Co Offaly as the body of the man has been found.

The update from the Gardaí reads:

“Following the discovery of a body of a male in Tullamore, Co. Offaly, the missing persons appeal for Michael Wyer (59) has been stood down. No further action is required.”

Gardaí thanked the media and public for their assistance.
