Mobile game developers FinFin Play AG have revealed a launch window for its upcoming title, Fashion League. The game is a free-to-play mobile title in which players can style avatars for creative and competitive play. The studio plans to launch the game in fall this year, with a series of activities and events for the audience to enjoy at the time.
FinFin emphasizes Fashion League’s fashion-forwardness and diversity. The avatars have a variety of body shapes, sizes, skin tones and genders. Players also have full freedom to layer and accessorize their looks, allowing them to create realistic and varied fashion. Another feature of the platform is the ability to design their own looks and earn royalties on them. FinFin has partnered with Clo Virtual Fashion to bring the latter’s community of designers into Fashion League.
During the game’s development, FinFin has partnered with the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) and the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund. Through this collaboration, it plans to bring in both established brands and up-and-comers to Fashion League, as the partnership gives designers the chance to feature their collections in the game.
Theresia Le Battistini, FinFin Play AG CEO, said in a statement, “Our partnerships with CLO3D and the CFDA are critical in transforming our vision into reality—merging digital and physical fashion realms, democratizing fashion access, and lowering entry barriers for emerging designers. By focusing on a compelling core gameplay and strategic partnerships, we are cultivating a vibrant community that not only draws but retains players and creators.”
