The Arkansas basketball offseason is in full swing, and head coach John Calipari has nearly completed the Razorbacks’ roster rehaul ahead of the 2024-25 campaign.
Calipari and the Hoop Hogs currently have 10 players listed on their official team roster, with several other prospects committed. Senior walk-on forward Lawson Blake suffered a ruptured Achilles tendon injury in practice and will miss the next 6-12 months in recovery.
“I’m as excited today as I’ve ever been for this upcoming season,” Blake said in a statement on July 2. “I can’t wait for y’all to see this team! Thank you for your well wishes and prayers.”
Of the players currently on the projected roster, six are transfers, six are freshmen and one is a returner from last season in forward Trevon Brazile.
Sophomore Zvonimir Ivisic (Kentucky), senior Jonas Aidoo (Tennessee), senior Johnell Davis (FAU), junior Adou Thiero (Kentucky), sophomore DJ Wagner (Kentucky) and junior Melo Sanchez (Hawaii Pacific) make up the transfer group, while Boogie Fland, Karter Knox, Billy Richmond, Jaden Karuletwa, Ayden Kelley and Casmir Chavis round out the freshmen newcomers.
