Lleyton Hewitt goes red as he meets Kate Middleton at Wimbledon
Lleyon Hewitt was left starstruck on Sunday when he met Kate Middleton at the Wimbledon final in England.
The retired tennis star, 43, attended the game with his wife Bec, 40, and they were seated in the Royal Box alongside the Princess of Wales.
Hewitt appeared flustered and became red-faced as Kate, 42, whispered something into his ear.
The 2002 Wimbledon Grand Slam winner looked to be having the time of his life as he enjoyed the day with his beautiful wife.
Hewitt was dapper in an unbuttoned tailored navy blazer paired with a crisp white dress shirt and patterned tie, while his perfectly gelled hair added to his slick appearance.
Meanwhile, Bec was effortlessly chic in a designer black blazer and a polka dot dress.
The power couple were seen energetically cheering on the players during the nail-biting finale.
Meanwhile, Kate, who was accompanied by her sister Pippa and daughter Princess Charlotte, opted for a stunning $2500 royal purple dress from Safiyaa.
The Princess of Wales later presented the Wimbledon trophy to Carlos Alcaraz as the Spaniard won the Grand Slam for a second year in a row.
Kate, who has stepped away from public royal duties while undergoing cancer treatment, saw the Spanish reigning champion take on veteran Novak Djokovic, winning in three sets.
Before passing the trophy to Alcaraz, Kate commiserated and shook the hand of runner-up Novak Djokovic.
Before Kate and her family took their seats in the Royal Box, they met with female tennis stars, including 21-year-old Emma Radacanu, who all presented Kate with a bouquet of flowers.
US Open winner Raducanu said it was ‘amazing’ to have the support of the princess and ‘see her here looking so healthy and happy’.
Kate’s husband Prince William and their son George did not accompany them on the outing, as they attended the Euros final in Berlin on the same day.
Lleyton and Bec and were also seated alongside a host of A-List stars, including Cruise, Benedict Cumberbatch and Sophie Hunter.
