Joseph Gannon (better known as Joe),
‘Kantara’, Breaffy Road, Castlebar, Co. Mayo – peacefully on 26th May, 2024 in the Hollymount Private Nursing Home.
Predeceased by his father Austin in September 2020 and his brothers John and Michael.
Beloved son of Anne née Daly, adored dad of Conor and loving brother of Tommy, Alan, Anne, Olive and Karen.
He will be sadly missed by his heartbroken mother, son, sisters, brothers, brothers-in-law Mick, John and Mark, sisters-in-law Assumpta and Grainne, nephews Colm, Aidan, Eoghan, John and Eric, nieces Lisa, Caroline, Sarah and Leah, cousins, relatives and many friends.
May he rest in peace.
Joe will repose in Kilcoyne’s Funeral Home, Thomas Street, Castlebar, F23 HT38 on Tuesday, 28th May from 6.30pm until 8.00pm.
The funeral will arrive at St. Aloysius Church, Breaffy, Castlebar on Wednesday for Funeral Mass at 11.30am.
Afterwards, Joe will be laid to rest in the New Cemetery, Newport Road, Castlebar.
