Sir Jim Ratcliffe faces Casemiro Man Utd decision as clubs queue for transfer

Three Saudi Arabian teams are reportedly interested in signing Casemiro this summer.

The Manchester United star has had an underwhelming season at Old Trafford, resulting in him facing a wealth of criticism, particularly from pundits. His future in Manchester is also unclear with him being one of the highest earners at the club.

Despite being heavily linked with the prospect of an exit, he insisted he is currently happy at United, saying: “I’m well, I’m happy, living every day I get to play here. As I usually say, Manchester United gave me what I wanted. This joy of being able to enjoy the game, enjoy the Premier League. So, I’m happy to be here at Manchester United and enjoying the game.”

The report adds that the clubs would not only match his salary at United but also put a ‘lucrative proposal’ on the table. Although Al Nassr hold an interest in Casemiro, they are not prioritising signing a midfielder with Marcelo Brozovic already in that position.

With Casemiro’s future up in the air, it is reported that the midfielder will hold talks with the United hierarchy. The Brazilian, who joined from Real Madrid for £70million two years ago, is thought to be on £350,000-a-week wages.
