Daily horse racing tips

  • FFOS LAS
    3.35: Nibras Gold 6/1 Each-way (1pt)
    4.40: Jasmin De Grugy 11/10 (2pts)
  • CARLISLE
    6.25: Party Bear 2/1 (1pt)

Nibras Gold

Fearless has much better form over 2m over fences, despite that though, has managed to win once from a total of seven runs over that distance.

His form dramatically worsens in his attempts at or above 2m3f and is a difficult horse to predict, having also put in a decent placed effort over 2m5f.

Fearless placed half a length off in third behind Guy last time out, which was impressive on his first run since February in a Class 3 handicap.

He remains off the same mark of 114 which keeps him of interest here dropping down to Class 4 company once more.

However, there’s two in this that look set on being a great price each-way and are unexposed over fences and could therefore be well weighted to strike.

Bob Bob Ricard is a six-year-old gelding at 11/2 who has been seen just four times over hurdles and is already heading into chasing but doesn’t quite have the same hurdle form as Nibras Gold.

Nibras Gold is trained by David Pipe and will be ridden by Jack Tudor, at just six-years-old already has 11 hurdle runs under his belt, with six second place finishes and two wins.

He looks like the type of horse to go well over fences and ought to also go well on his first attempt over fences having last been seen in October.

Jasmin De Grugy

This gelding has really impressed on his last two starts over hurdles including over course and distance just over three weeks ago.

Three runs in May is an indication that trainer Anthony Honeyball has got him in great condition and wants to capitalise.

The JP McManus-owned horse comes with much less risks attached and is surprisingly still odds against, which is unlikely to be the case at the time of the off.

She’s got a much better form than her other rivals who have yet to see any proper hurdle form even in maiden company.

Party Bear

Lots to like about Kiss Me My Love on debut as if she can improve on that has a great shot at winning for trainer Charlie Johnston.

She placed second to Up The Clarets just a couple of weeks ago on good ground and as the 100/30 shot went well to go clear of the rest of the field by four lengths.

However, it’s hard to tell how good that form is coming into this.

Especially as she’s up against Party Bear, who has Sam James on board the Karl Burke-trained two-year-old, who also sends out Larchill Lass.

Party Bear is unraced yet still comes into this as the favourite having been backed in from the opening price of around 7/2.

She’s an April foal by Kodi Bear and fetched 32,000 gns as a yearling with some interesting pedigree.

I would be more inclined to go for the longshot of Elementary Charge at 20/1 than Larchill Lass at this stage, as they both have form that ties each other quite closely, but the bigger priced filly only has her debut to go by, but there could be significant improvement on that run.
