Ladies: The April Monthly Medal was won by Catherine English with a nett of 74. Claire Griffen had best Gross with 85. Elaine Birmingham was third with a net of 78.

May monthly medal: The winner is Anne O’Connor 65 Nett. Elaine Bermingham Best Gross with 87. Audrey McGrath was third with a nett of 77. Congratulations to all! Due to poor weather conditions other competitions were not completed.

Teams: Well done to: Katherine Morrissey’s Intermediate Foursomes Team, they had a great win against Templemore last Friday. Best wishes to them on June 4th when they play East-Cork away at 3pm. Bernard Murphy and his Mixed Foursomes Team, who beat Mitchelstown last Saturday. They play Thurles away in the Munter East quarter finals. Lady Captain Aoife Lowry and her Senior Cup Team. They beat the Gold Coast last Sunday in a dramatic victory in awful conditions. Yvonne Daly Ryan clinched a great win for the team on the 21st. Well done to all managers, players, caddies and supporters.

Results: Summer Series: Saturday 25th May. We had some great golf played with Seamus O’Halloran reaping the rewards for playing great golf these last few years picking up a deserved Gross on the day, also high scoring from Colm Blackwell and Kieran Flynn earning the accolades in their categories.

Junior Golf: We will take part in the interclub in Youghal GC on June 23. Teams have also been entered in the East Munster Golfsixes league during the summer, more information will follow:
All Ireland sixes Area Qualifier to be played in Tipperary GC on Thurs July 11th at 4pm.

Interclub Teams: Hard luck to our Cashman Cup team who fought bravely on friday last but were eventually beaten three to one by a strong Thurles team. The club wishes to thank manager Eddie Fitzgerald for all his hard work with this group of players. Best of luck to Thurles GC in the next round. Also best of luck to our Jimmy Bruen team and managers Richard Ryan and Davy Charles in their next fixture at home to Dundrum Sunday 2nd June at 1.30pm

Our Senior Cup team received a walkover from Clonmel GC in the first round so they now play Douglas GC away on Saturday June 22nd. Best of luck to manager Steven Murray and his panel. Our Junior Cup managed by John Traynor will be in action soon too. First Round: Away to Mitchelstown Saturday 8th June at 2pm
