Dublin Lotto player wins €160k after buying ticket in south Dublin store
Dublin Lotto players have been told to check their tickets carefully after one lucky player scooped €160,656 during Wednesday’s draw.
Players in Dublin and Meath both matched five numbers and the bonus and will share €321,312 between them. The winning numbers in the Wednesday 29th May Lotto draw were: 12, 25, 35, 38, 39, 45 and the bonus was 34.
The Dublin player won their share of the Match 5 + Bonus prize after purchasing their winning Quick Pick ticket on the day of the draw at Circle K Elm Park on the Merrion Road in Dublin 4. Meanwhile, the Meath winner was celebrating after purchasing their winning Quick Pick ticket, also on the day of the draw, at Tesco Narrow Ways on the Eastham Road in Bettystown.

National Lottery spokesperson, Sarah Orr, said: “There will be not one but two Lotto players celebrating in Ireland today after matching five numbers and the bonus in Wednesday’s draw to win €160,656 each.
“The two winning tickets were both Quick Picks which were purchased on the day of the draw. We are encouraging all of our Dublin players who may have popped into the Circle K at Elm Park on the Merrion Road to check their tickets carefully as well as our Meath players who may have bought their midweek tickets in the Tesco store at Narrow Ways on the Eastham Road in Bettystown.
“Two players could be walking around with the winning ticket in their bags or pockets, totally unaware of just how much they are worth. The two biggest winners of the night should sign the back of their tickets and contact our prize claims team who will make arrangements for them to visit our Winners Room to collect their prizes.
“Wednesday’s Lotto draw saw over 59,000 players nationwide win prizes across the Lotto and Lotto Plus draws, with the Dublin and Meath Match 5 and Bonus winners taking the titles of biggest winners of the night. As there was no winner of the €3,377,681 jackpot on offer, Saturday’s jackpot is now set to roll towards an estimated €3.8 million.
“Lotto players dreaming of spending their Bank Holiday weekend becoming Ireland’s newest multi-millionaire are reminded that tickets can be purchased in-store, through the app or at www.lottery.ie ahead of the 7.45pm cut-off time for sales on Saturday evening.”
