Maura looks like she’s ageing backwards as she gets hair transformation

RTE star Maura Derrane has showed off her latest hair transformation and fans have all said she looks ageless.

The Today Show host is renowned for changing up her hairstyles and this time she ditched her usual curly locks for a soft straight look.

Maura took to Instagram yesterday to document the results of her hair appointment.

The 53-year-old looked sensational as she sat in the hair salon while her hairdresser revealed her new do.

The hair stylist had cut some stunning layers throughout Maura’s hair and also added a beautiful “French fringe” at the front.

The Galway girl also rocked a more lighter, red toned colour as opposed to her usual dark brown.

Maura told fans: “Pam (her hairdresser) has cut a fringe into my hair! And I nearly made her cut a bob but she stopped me.”

Pam added: “I did I stopped her in her tracks because all she needs is this fringe for the summer, we call this a French fringe, it’s not a bang.”

The hairdresser then began to lift up Maura’s hair to give followers a closer look at how she cut the fringe.

Pam told Maura that “equally” her hair will be “gorgeous curly” when it dries naturally.

Maura then complimented her hair stylist as she said: “It’s beautiful, I love the colour.”

The Irish host wrote in her caption: “#newhairstyle thanks to @morrissey.pamela @sobebrown.”

And Fans and friends all flocked to the Instagram comment section to gush over the stars new look.

Julie wrote: “Love this on you. You look fantastic.”

Joan added: “Really suits you… such a gorgeous cut.”

Patricia said: “Love the hair, makes you look younger.”

And Gina commented: “Stunning on you Maura, you’re like a teenager.”

The mum-of-one was recently hounded with messages from fans after she stunned on air in a “figure-hugging” jumpsuit.

The Today host was back on air with her usual co-host Daithi O Se for some TV laughs.

MAUR LOOKS

The 53-year-old took to Instagram in multiple posts to show off her stylish denim jumpsuit.

Maura got the outfit from Very Ireland and it currently retails for €50.

The dark-washed denim rig-out has short ruffled sleeves, pockets and buttons on the front.

The Galway native tied her look together with some studded chunky white Marco Moreo sandals and a stunning necklace from the Irish designer Margaret O’Connor.

Maura talked fans through her look saying: “Lots of you asking about the denim jumpsuit I wore the other day.

“The denim jumpsuit really works because of the wash, the dark denim is really flattering to wear. And I wanted a cool piece of jewellery.”

The popular presenter’s friends and fans loved her stylish look and raced to the comment section with compliments.

Radio host Ciara Kelly wrote: “M where is gorgeous jumpsuit from?”

One commenter said: “So figure hugging. Absolutely love it.”

Angela added: “You look wonderful Maura.”
