650 jobs created by NDRC startups in last three years

Companies linked to Ireland’s national startup accelerator programme NDRC have created 650 jobs in the last three years, according to new figures.

€56m has been raised by startups who participated in the programmes over the last three years and €180m has been raised by the entire NDRC portfolio during the same period.

NDRC is an initiative of the Department of Enterprise, Climate and Communications (DECC).

It operates through a network of innovative startup hubs, including Dogpatch Labs in Dublin, PorterShed in Galway, RDI Hub in Kerry and Republic of Work in Cork.

The hubs serve as connectors, bringing together various stakeholders across the startup ecosystem to support and nurture founders.

To date, 30% of NDRC accelerator investments comprise women-led or co-led startups.

NDRC has announced a two-year contract extension to continue supporting entrepreneurs.
