St Pauls Killarney sign two Americans ahead of Super League basketball season

In the 2023/’24 season she helped the University to the SIAC Women’s Basketball Championship finals for the first time since 2019, averaging 16.5 points per game and is seen as a team player who helps bring other players into the game and is adept when faced with a hard press.

She was named on the SIAC All Star team and honoured as Player of the Year in 2024 and comes to Killarney with a very good reputation as the Club is welcomed back to the top table of Irish basketball.

Meanwhile, Megan Ormiston has also signed on with St Pauls for the season. Ormiston is the second signing following the capture of point guard Gracen Kerr. Ormiston is a native of Murietta, a city in California and graduated from the University of Nevada in 2023. In that season she started all 31 games and led the team in both field goals and field goal percentages.

At 6’ 3” she can play in both the four and five position where your height can be utilised. In her high school years she set a school record 23 rebounds twice while she averaged ten points per game in her final season in Nevada.

Listing Breanna Stewart and LeBron James as her heroes, it is hoped that her combination with the aforementioned Kerr will help St Pauls hit the ground running in the upper echelons of women’s basketball.
