Life-changing wins for two Irish Lotto players as locations revealed

Two Irish punters have entered June with life-changing winnings, as Lotto bosses have revealed the locations.

A player in Co Westmeath bagged a massive €250,000 in Saturday’s Lotto Plus 2 draw.

The lucky winner purchased their Quick Pick ticket on the day of the draw at Mulligan’s Londis & PO on the Roscommon Road in Athlone.

Two Irish punters have entered June with life-changing winnings, as Lotto bosses have revealed the locations.

The winning numbers in the Saturday 1st June Lotto Plus 2 draw were: 03, 18, 24, 34, 35, 42 with the bonus ball 31.

A National Lottery spokesperson said: ‘Lotto players who may have purchased their tickets on Saturday 1st June at Mulligan’s Londis & PO are advised to check their tickets carefully as one player has become a top prize winner.

‘The Westmeath winner should sign the back of their ticket, which is now worth €250,000, and keep it safe.’

A player in Co Westmeath bagged a massive €250,000 in Saturday’s Lotto Plus 2 draw.

They added: ‘They should make contact with the National Lottery prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie and arrangements will be made for them to collect their prize in Lotto HQ.’

Meanwhile, an online player in Co Louth is also celebrating as they won a substantial €49,253 by matching five numbers and the bonus in the main draw.

Lotto bosses have confirmed that an email and a notification has been sent to the online winner who should also make contact with the prize claims team.

The winning numbers in the main Lotto draw were: 02, 03, 22, 24, 29, 35 and the bonus was 18.

National Lottery’s Sarah Orr said: ‘Lotto players in Westmeath and Louth got the month of June off to a flying start!

‘The Westmeath winner scooped the top prize of €250,000 in the Lotto Plus 2 draw after popping into Mulligan’s Londis & PO on the day of the draw to purchase their winning Quick Pick ticket.

‘We are advising all of our players who may have been in Mulligan’s on the day of the draw and picked up their tickets there to carefully check them today as one player now has a ticket worth a massive €250,000.’

She added: ‘And of course that wasn’t our only big winner! An online player in Louth matched five numbers and the bonus to win €49,253 in the main draw.

‘The two biggest winners of the night are advised to make contact with our claims team who will make arrangements for them to collect their prizes in Lotto HQ.’

Over 86,000 players won prizes across the Lotto and Lotto Plus draws on Saturday night. However, there was no winner of the life-changing €3,801,056 jackpot on offer which means that Wednesday’s jackpot is now set to roll towards an estimated €4.2 million.
