SVR relies on partially recycled lightweight tube from Albéa
For the new cleanser of the Topialyse product range, French brand SVR relies again on Albéa Tubes technology: The solution combines single-component open-and-close system EcoFusion Top with a PCR-Max tube integrating 41% of recycled plastics (PCR) as well as the Thin Wall technology. The solution provides a total weight reduction of 55% compared to a standard cap and sleeve.
The SVR concentrated cleanser is the first water-free dermatological cleanser specifically formulated for dry, sensitive skin for the whole family. The 100g tube represents the equivalent of 40 showers, or the use of a 400ml Topialyse Cleansing Gel.
“Our aim is to offer our consumers products that are in line with their sustainable habits while providing them with maximum safety and efficiency,” says Paul Chegri, in charge of Packaging Development at SVR. “This latest innovation is a perfect example of our vision of a responsible product, both in terms of packaging and formula.”
Aude Laclaire, Sustainability Director at Albéa Tubes adds: “The reduced plastic use and the integration of recycled material are the biggest drivers to lower environmental impact and reduce scope 3 GHG emissions in our industry. We are proud of this new achievement with SVR that helps drive circularity of packaging forward.”
The Topialyse tubes are produced in Albéa Schesslitz, Germany.
