After losing out to Kilkenny in their final group game of the Leinster Hurling Championship, Keith Rossiter’s side will take on the runners-up of the Joe McDonagh Cup, either Laois or Offaly.
The Joe McDonagh Cup between Laois and Offaly will take place in Croke Park this weekend and full confirmation of the fixture will be available then.
However, the GAA has confirmed today that Wexford’s next clash – the All-Ireland preliminary quarter-final, will take place on Saturday June 15th and it will be an away clash.

To be confirmed after Joe McDonagh Cup. It will be either in O’Connor Park in Tullamore or O’Moore Park in Laois as the Joe McDonagh Cup finalists will have home advantage.

The match will not be broadcasted on TV, nor will there be an option to watch it on GAAGo. The only way to watch this match will be to attend the game.

A win for the Wexford Senior hurlers will see them advance to the All-Ireland quarter-final, where they will take on the Munster final runners-up, either Limerick or Clare. This match will take place in Semple Stadium.
