Gadson Lefft and Reilly Howard join Women’s Basketball Staff – Bryant University
SMITHFIELD, R.I. – Bryant women’s basketball head coach Lynne-Ann Kokoski announced the addition of Gadson Lefft and Reilly Howard to the coaching staff for the upcoming 2024-25 season.
Lefft will assume the role of Assistant Coach / Recruiting Coordinator, while Howard will serve as Assistant Coach / Director of Basketball Operations.
“I am excited to welcome Gaddy and Reilly to our women’s basketball statf”, said coach Kokoski. “I am thrilled to have Gaddy join our staff. She hails from a strong lineage of winning programs both as a player and coach. She is a great relationship builder and will spearhead our recruiting efforts to help us push to the top of the America East”.
Lefft began her collegiate career at Clemson in 2015, played at Delaware for three seasons (2016-18), and played her graduate year at the University of Maine in 2019. The following year, Lefft was hired as a student assistant coach and worked in the compliance department for the Black Bears. In 2021, Lefft was hired as an Assistant Coach for Army before returning to Maine for the next two seasons, where she helped Maine win the 2023-24 America East Championship.
“Reilly’s excitement for the game and “whatever it takes attitude” will help us tremendously this season as we continue to build,” said coach Kokoski. She has been associated with some very good programs and understands how to operate at a high level”.
Howard spent five years (2016-21) at Florida State where she got her undergraduate and graduate degrees and was the student manager for the women’s basketball team all five years. She earned her first assistant coach job at St. Mary’s College of Maryland before taking a Graduate Assistant job at George Washington the following season. Howard worked closely with the coaching staff to assist in all the daily needs of the program.
