New bar for popular Galway shopping centre as shoppers delighted
A new addition to a popular Galway shopping centre has excited shoppers this week as doors open for the first time.
Beautyphile Nail Bar opened its doors in Eyre Square Shopping Centre on Sunday, May 5 as the latest store to join a roster of names at the popular spot.
The nail bar has set up shop in the prominent corner unit that was previously occupied by Giftworks, neighbouring store Over the Moon and opposite Claires accessories.

Elsewhere this week, one of Galway’s best-loved new cafés has sadly announced it will close after 18 months in a popular seaside spot.
Oranmore’s The Briar Café made the sad announcement to social media, citing rising costs for their untimely decision to halt operations.
The crew at The Briar Café delivered the “hearbreaking” news that Saturday 11 May 2024 would be their last day as they shut for good that evening.
The Briar Café delivered the terrible news saying: “Unfortunately, we have to come to the heartbreaking decision to close our doors at The Briar Café for the last time on Saturday may 11th.”
They went on to thank their customers and staff for their support, but said they felt the spiralling costs and shortages of labour made it impossible to continue: “Sadly, with rising costs of everything and staff shortages it is not possible to stay open.
“We would like to thank all of our customers for your continued support and most importantly our great staff for the last year and a half – we couldn’t have done this without you.”
