Delay in resumption of Longford election count

Returning Officer Mary Gouldsbury announces the delay to the resumption of counting at St Mary’s Community Centre, Edgeworthstown, Longford as agents for candidates in the Ballymahon MD are not yet available to review the doubtful votes.

A first count of the local election ballots from the 58 polling stations across county Longford has yet to be completed.
