Road closures and travel advice for Taylor Swift Anfield concerts

During Taylor Swift’s Eras tour at Anfield Stadium, road closures and travel restrictions will be in place.

The global hitmaker arrives in Liverpool to play three sold-out shows from Thursday, June 13 – Saturday, June 15. Fans travelling to the concerts could face disruption as nearly 500 Stagecoach bus drivers are set to strike.




The bus drivers are due to strike from Thursday, June 13 – Tuesday, June 18, which could make getting to the stadium more difficult for visitors. You can read the full list of Liverpool buses that won’t run during the strikes here.

Alongside the change to bus journeys, road closures will be in effect during the event. Walton Breck Road will be closed from 12pm to 12am while Anfield Road will closed to through traffic due to Liverpool FC’s Anfield Road stadium expansion.

How to get to Anfield Stadium

Anfield Stadium by bus:

The 917 express shuttle bus departs from Commutation Row in Liverpool city centre starting at 3.30 pm on show days. The stadium pick-up and drop-off point is located on Arkles Lane.
