Warm tributes to Tramore road crash victim | WLRFM.com

Warm tributes have been paid to the victim of Friday evening’s road traffic crash in Tramore.

John McNeil, late of Monvoy Valley, Tramore, and formerly of Comeragh Estate, Tycor, Waterford City, died in the road traffic incident involving two vehicles in Monvoy at around 6.20pm on Friday evening.

Many tributes have been posted online to John who was a retired member of the Defence Forces.

His death notice reads that he “will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his heartbroken wife Joan, his beloved children Ian and Niamh, his adoring grandson Odhrán, Ian’s partner Celina, Niamh’s partner Mark, his brothers and sisters-in-law and all his nieces, nephews. He will be forever missed by all his relatives, extended family, wonderful neighbours and many many friends.”

John will be reposing at Falconer’s Funeral Home, Riverstown, Tramore, on Monday from 5pm to 7pm.

John’s Requiem Mass will take place on Tuesday at 10 am at The Church of the Holy Cross, Tramore.

John will be laid to rest in St. Otteran’s Cemetery, Ballynaneashagh, immediately afterwards.
