Wednesday works: Señor Buscador leads 10 graded winners

Señor Buscador, winner of the Group 1 Saudi Cup in February, worked Wednesday for the second time since finishing third in the Dubai World Cup (G1) in March.

The 6-year-old son of Mineshaft worked three furlongs at San Luis Rey Training Center in 36.4 seconds, fifth fastest of 10 at the distance. He returned to the tab May 30, going three furlongs in 39.0 seconds for trainer Todd Fincher.

Señor Buscador (Mineshaft), a Grade 2 winner (2023 San Diego Handicap), worked three furlongs in 36.4 seconds at San Luis Rey on Wednesday morning. It was the fifth fastest of 10 works at the distance. His previous work was 13 days ago going three furlongs at San Luis Rey. In his last start he placed third in the Dubai World Cup (G1) going about 1 1/4 miles on the dirt at Meydan Racecourse on March 30 for trainer Todd Fincher.
