Tyrrell Hatton KICKS club after shot… but still manages a birdie

LIV Golf’s Tyrrell Hatton got prematurely angry at a shot on a par-3 at the US Open at Pinehurst on Thursday.

On the 213 yard par-3 17th hole, Hatton dropped his club after his tee shot that he thought was bound for the right front bunker.

With the club lying on the ground, Hatton then kicked at it all before the ball even landed.

If he watched a little longer, then maybe he would have been impressed as the ball went over the bunker and landed on the green to roll to less than ten feet from the hole.

Hatton would go on to roll that nine foot putt into the hole for a birdie to sit at two under for the round at the time.

Hatton currently sits tied for eighth at one under as he’s played through eleven holes after starting on the back nine.

The Englishman is no stranger to letting his emotions burst out of him on a golf course in the past.

Earlier this year, he went on a foul-mouthed rant after a tee shot took what he described as a ‘w**k’ bounce in Miami.

‘That can reach those trees, can’t it?’ Hatton was heard asking. ‘F***ing what a w**k bounce that was… if it f***ing bounces left it’s fine.’

Hatton’s rant continued as he bent down to pick up his tee. ‘F*** you,’ he said to himself. ‘F***ing c**t’.’

At the time of publishing, he was the second-best LIV Golfer in the field behind Bryson DeChambeau who sat at three-under for the tournament.
