Lidl Ireland fans set to love €17.99 summer bargain that will keep kids busy

THE summer holidays are in full swing – and keeping little ones busy is the top of many parent’s lists.

A must-have Paddling Pool is landing in Lidl stores from Thursday, June 20.

The inflatable pool, costing a bargain €17.99, will provide hours of fun all summer long.

The supermarket giant will have two styles available – a rectangle shape or a hexagon shape.

Both pools feature a two-air chamber system and have a hard-wearing base.

With integrated headrest, the pools are perfect for relaxing and soaking up the sun.

There’s a quick-release valve for easy inflation and deflation.

Both come with a base valve for draining water quickly and easily.

Dunnes Stores bosses have dropped a light blue paddling pool that’s ideal for smaller children.

The inflatable kid’s pool, retailing at €15, is quick to set up.

Its description reads: “Dive into summer with this inflatable three-ring paddling pool.

“Quick and easy to inflate and perfectly sized for any garden or outdoor space, it promises endless outdoor fun in the sun.”

Parents are advised they should not install the paddling pool over concrete, asphalt or any other hard surface.

They said: “It is recommended to place the paddling pool/activity toy on a level surface at least 2m away from any structure or obstruction such as a fence, garage, house, overhanging branches, laundry lines or electrical wires.”

Once set up, it’s important to change the water of paddling pools frequently – particularly in hot weather or when noticeably contaminated.

The retailer advised: “Children can drown in very small amounts of water. Empty the pool when not in use.”

Keep the fun times bubbling with the Bubbletastic Water Balloon Pump just €10.
