The 2023-24 NBA season may have ended, but summer basketball is just beginning! And we’ll have you covered for all of the summer hoops 2024 offers at BettingPros. The Big3 is a 3-on-3 basketball league founded by Ice Cube featuring some of the best players ever to hit the hardwood. Games will take place each weekend through the regular season, and we’ll have picks for each and every Big3 matchup. Let’s take a look at the best odds, picks, and predictions for this week’s Big3 basketball action.

Big3 Basketball Best Bets

Here are our best bets for this week of Big3 basketball action.

Triplets vs. Enemies

With both rosters coming back intact, this 2023 championship game should be a tight, competitive rematch. But the Triplets will have an edge in this game for one reason—coaching. Lisa Leslie returns as head coach of the Triplets, while Nick Young will take over the Enemies HC job, with Gilbert Arenas taking a step back. Young was a player-coach last season, but Leslie has been with the Triplets since their inception and has led the team to a title. That experience will give the Triplets the advantage they need to get their revenge on the Enemies. Coaching means something; let’s take the Triplets to cover (-3.5).

Pick: Triplets -3.5 (-110)

– Travis Pulver

3 Headed Monsters vs. Aliens

Both teams have undergone some significant changes from last season. Only one player from the 2023 roster is returning for the 3-Headed Monsters, Rashard Lewis, but as the team’s new head coach. As for the Aliens, Rick Mahorn returns as the team’s head coach, but his only returning player is Dusan Bulut. Both rosters lack experience in Big3 play, but with the Milsap brothers occupying three roster spots, they should have some built-in chemistry. Neither team was good last season, hence the massive turnover. However, the family connection with the Aliens and Mahorn’s wealth of experience as a head coach will give them an edge. Take the Aliens to win.

Pick: Aliens ML (+100)

– Travis Pulver

Ball Hogs vs. Tri-State

While the Ball Hogs have been around since 2017, they haven’t made the postseason in any season. They’re led by Leonardo Barbosa and Jodie Meeks. However, Barbosa was injured in 2021 during a solid season, and the team has never been the same since. They’ll try to turn things around with a new addition, forward Larry Sanders. Meanwhile, Tri-State is led by Jason Richardson. Last season, he scored 113 points and shot 47.1% from the field, including 35.7% from three. They’ve also made some new additions, including Kevin Murphy and Amir Johnson. With those two additions, the Tri-State lineup seems lethal. Let’s rock with Tri-State -4.5.

Pick: Tri State -4.5 (-110)

– Jason Radowitz

Bivouac vs. Trilogy

The Trilogy had won the Big 3 in 2021 and 2022 but couldn’t earn a three-peat last season. Trilogy no longer has Amir Johnson or Ryan Carter, but Earl Clark is still the captain of the squad. He led the team with 137 points but only shot 39.4% from the field. Isaiah Briscoe is expected to take on more of a load this season, and Cady Lalanne will have heavy minutes. They’ll take on Bivouac, a team with many recognizable NBA names. They’ve got a stacked team between Gerald Green, Corey Brewer, and Garlon Green, but they couldn’t win much last year and likely won’t win much this year.

Pick: Trilogy -5.5 (-110)

– Jason Radowitz

Ghost Ballers vs. Killer 3’s

The Killer 3’s return four of their five players from last year’s team, including their four leading scorers. Donte Green is back after scoring 142 points and pulling down 58 rebounds last season. He will be joined by Franklin Session who led the team with 59 rebounds and 31 assists, while also scoring 97. The Ghost Ballers also return four of their five players, including two 100-point scorers in Mike Taylor and Jonathan Simmons. When these two teams met last season, the Ghost Ballers came away with the 50-40 victory. With both teams looking very similar this season, we give the Ghost Ballers the advantage again. Take them to cover this small spread.

Pick: Ghost Ballers -2.5 (+100)

– Phil Wood

Power vs. 3’s Company

After making the BIG3 Championship Game in 2022, Power finished just 4-4 last season. They return three of their five players, including leading scorers Glen Rice Jr. and Royce White. Power’s scoring was well spread out last season, so it will be interesting to see if Rice or White take on a bigger role with the departure of Cuttino Mobley. Meanwhile 3’s Company saw a huge offseason signing, when they landed Reggie Evans, the leading scorer of 3 Headed Monsters last season. Evans will look to give 3’s Company a much-needed third option this season. Last season, Michael Beasley scored 151 points, Mario Chalmers scored 75, and every other player scored 25 or fewer points. With the addition of Evans, 3’s Company could be one of the teams to beat this season.

Pick: 3’s Company -4.5 (-110)

– Phil Wood
