Top spot in Group one and a place in the All-Ireland SFC quarter-final is on the line for Armagh and Galway this afternoon.

One year after their round three battle in Carrick-on-Shannon, the rivalry between the sides moves further West for its latest instalment.




A Rory Grugan free coupled with a late miss from Shane Walsh gave the Orchard County the bragging rights last year.

Both Armagh and Galway are already guaranteed to be involved in the last 12, but the added risk of another Championship outing means both will be keen to maintain their winning form.

Kieran McGeeney’s side delivered one of their best performances in recent seasons with a stunning 11-point win over Derry in round two while a late Shane Walsh goal helped Galway see off the challenge of Westmeath in Mullingar.
