Stellar seasons: The 2024 Caller-Times All-South Texas Tennis Team
The 2024 spring high school tennis season did not produce a state champion, but there will still plenty of stellar performances this season.
The Coastal Bend had multiple qualifiers to the UIL State Tennis Tournament, and a number of them qualified as regional champions.
Here’s a look at the 2024 All-South Texas Tennis Team.

Co-Players of the Year
Aracely Salinas, West Oso and Kailey Albrecht, London
Salinas made history this year by becoming the first West Oso tennis player to win a regional championship and advance to the state tournament. She then went on to win her first two matches at state handily before falling in the state final.
Albrecht, meanwhile, continued a tradition of London players qualifying for the state tournament and also went on a run to the state final. Albrecht also won a Region IV-3A championship to go with her District 30-3A championship.
