Woman pays €35 for pot in charity shop before finding out shocking true value

A woman has turned an astounding profit on a pot she purchased from a local charity shop after checking its real price when she got home.

The savvy shopper must have a keen eye for value, because her decision to buy such a precious item donated to the shop ended up landing her quite a windfall, the Daily Star reports.

After sifting through objects of varied monetary value, the woman finally came across some kitchenware, which included a shiny blue casserole pot on sale for £29.99 (€35).

After making the purchase, the woman took to X to proudly boast her once-in-a-lifetime bargain buy. Along with a photo of the pot, she wrote: “£30 in my local charity shop. I scuttled away with it like I’d pulled off a very middle class heist.”

Upon analysing the pot, it is undeniably pretty with its vibrant blue paint and detailed ridges, making it look as though it was made with care. Lo and behold, the woman later revealed: “I may have just casually checked the Le Creuset website: £315 (€373)!”
