Three Willie Mullins-trained horses to be sold online
Three Willie Mullins-trained horses are to feature in ThoroughBid’s June Sale catalogue, for which bidding will take place online from 9am-12pm on Tuesday June 25.
WHAT PATH (Lot 12), a winner of a Galway Festival bumper as well as twice over hurdles when reaching a rating of 135, will be joined by stablemates WE’LLHAVEWAN (Lot 19), who has won and placed at Listed level over both hurdles and fences respectively, and expensive point-to-point graduate CADOUDAL SAINT (Lot 15) will also be part of the sale.
After his maiden win on Sunday, LITTLE TRILBY (Lot 17), trained by Gordon Elliott, is also offered in the sale, while there are a number of pointers consigned by Monbeg Stables, who sold champion hunter chaser ITS ON THE LINE through ThoroughBid in 2022.

Further, Chris Barber has consigned exciting maiden and restricted point-to-point winner ALL STAR BOY (Lot 6), a five-year-old by Youmzain.
Barber said: “He’s a very interesting horse that could progress through the pointing ranks or go Under Rules and make a bright chaser in the future.
“He was a weak, raw horse when we bought him off Matty Flynn O’Connor, and he probably didn’t want the heavy ground he was running on. We made a plan to run him through the season and he went and won nicely the first day.
“There was a short period when my horses weren’t quite right and we ran him over 2m4f, which was probably a bit too sharp for him, but he bounced back from that the last day. He won quite impressively and Will [Biddick] didn’t have to ask a question, while the second has come out and finished second again, only beaten a neck, Under Rules recently. He’s a very promising type.”
Commenting further on the June Sale catalogue, CEO of ThoroughBid, James Richardson, said: “Several Willie Mullins-trained horses have sold with us recently and it looks like we have three more nice types in this June Sale. What Path and We’llhavewan have both shown a high level of form over obstacles, while Cadoudal Saint is a fine prospect, having won a point-to-point last year and run well in a bumper and two maiden hurdles.
“Gordon Elliott’s recent maiden hurdle winner Little Trilby adds further interest to a good mixed catalogue, which also includes pointers from the well-respected Monbeg Stables and a nice recent winner of Chris Barber’s. We look forward to the bidding getting underway next Tuesday June 25.”
Bidding for the June Sale is on Tuesday 25th June, 9am-12pm. You can view the catalogue here.
