We all love a bargain – and this nifty online shopping hack will definitely help save you some pennies.

The ease of online shopping means you can browse in the comfort of your own home, search around for the best deals and get them delivered straight to your door.

Now, you can take it to the next level thanks to popular money-saving guru Gemma Bird, also known as “Money Saving Mum” and her Amazon shopping hack. The author and mum has made it her mission to help people save money where they can, and it’s good news for bargain lovers who have an Amazon account.

Gemma took to Instagram to tell her 450,000 followers how to truly make the most of shopping online, and said she has saved her “hundreds” of pounds over the years and called it a “must” for when doing your shopping online. In her video, she shared an image of a dress for sale on the Karen Millen website for £79.20, and shared how easily you can get an identical dress for a fraction of the price.

She then instructed shoppers to take a screenshot of the image and load up the Amazon app on their phones. In the corner of the Amazon search bar is a camera icon. Upload the screenshot and it will then scan the web for a dupe of the dress. “You can see then I have a dress and the price is just £33,” and showed a similar looking dress on Amazon.

Fans flocked to the comments to express their delight, as many called Gemma a “genius” for the handy trick. One fan said: “OMG I did not know this feature!! How amazing,” and a second penned: “Amazing! Thanks will do this in the future.”

Another shared it also works with Google and said: “You can do the same with Google which helps so much ! I never knew you could do it with Amazon! Wow,” while another echoed: “Such a great tip! You can do it with ASOS too.” Others advised this trick also works with online retailer Shein too.
