CLINTON, S.C. – Presbyterian College Blue Hose men’s tennis coach John Collins has accepted the head coaching position at the University of North Florida. A national search for Presbyterian College’s next head coach is already underway.

“We are sad to say goodbye to Coach John Collins, who led Presbyterian College Men’s Tennis with distinction since 2021,” said Presbyterian’s Athletic Director Dee Nichols. “Under his leadership, the Blue Hose clinched Big South Tournament titles in 2021 and 2023, secured two NCAA Tournament appearances, and proudly shared the 2023 Big South Regular-Season championship. In his four seasons at the helm of Presbyterian’s men’s tennis program (2021-24), he guided the Blue Hose to a Big South regular-season title, two Big South Tournament titles, and two bids to the NCAA Tournament.
