Football team news: Boost for Galway as Damien Comer returns for Monaghan clash

Comer has been absent since picking up a nasty leg injury against Derry in round one of the All-Ireland group stages but the powerful full-forward is a welcome addition for their meeting with the Farney men.

The Annaghdown attacker is part of a stacked bench also consisting of huge talents like John Daly, Kieran Molloy and Johnny Heaney as the Tribesmen look to book their place in the last eight.

Pádraic Joyce has named an unchanged Galway side from their draw with Armagh last Sunday, a result which saw them lose top spot in Group 1 and be forced to play again just six days later.
