Motorcyclist in his 20s killed in Cork collision
A man has died following a collision in Cork.
Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of a fatal road traffic collision involving a motorcycle and a car this mooning at Curravarahane, Bandon.
The incident occurred at around 11am.
The motorcyclist, a man in his 20s, was fatally injured. His body was removed to Cork University Hospital where a post-mortem will take place in the coming days.
No other injuries have been reported.
The road was closed for a time, but has since re-opened. Garda Forensic Collision Investigators have completed their examination of the scene.
Gardaí are appealing to any person who may have witnessed this collision to contact them.
Road users with camera footage (including dash-cam) who were travelling in the area at the time are asked to make this available to gardaí.

Two units from the Bandon and Clonakilty fire brigades, a team from the West Cork Rapid Response Unit, a team from the National Ambulance Service and members of the Gardaí were called to the scene outside the Bandon Recycling Centre.
