2.45: Brighton Boy 13/2 Each-way (1pt)
4.15: Spaceport 4/1 (1pt) - CARLISLE
2.35: Megalithic 6/5 (2pts)
4.15: Jabaara 1/1 (2pts)
Brighton Boy
It’s a tough race to call this with only a few with previous runs.
Brighton Boy has decent form lines though running just behind Pentle Bay in June.
That horse has gone onto go well enough at Royal Ascot well beaten by Bedtime Story of course but still second.
Calyxoh was the favourite for the initial race but finished a couple of lengths ahead of Brighton Boy, who did have excuses on debut and should be able to improve massively for that experience.
He not only didn’t go optimally at the start but ran green and still stayed on to claim minor honours in a big field.
Tanager has form behind Enchanting Empress and Teej A at both Ascot and Epsom respectively.
And will be carrying a penalty for that but given his current rating of 83 could still be well weighted to strike.
Sergio Parisse’s win in May has been boosted with fifth placed Brian going well at Royal Ascot.
Gap Year who was in second behind this race’s favourite; hasn’t improved his chances though and that could be skewing things and with so many uncertainties is tough to back at such a small price.
Spaceport
Silent Grace is the favourite for this contest after she went clear on her second contest, winning by a huge six lengths at Wolverhampton in May.
But at 9/4 it could be surprising to some, but it’s crucial to analyse just how good the horses in behind are and were running on the day.
It was a Class 5 novice fillies contest that may have just seen the Ralph Beckett-trained filly find an easy contest at 6/4 SP on the day,

89 is a tough mark to defy ahead of Subsequent and Spaceport who have also shown promise and are also geldings looking to make the most of that weight difference.
Subsequent has coincidentally improved with subsequent runs going up in trip each time.
Spaceport however, has only been upped 4lb for his win ahead of Sea The Thunder at Leicester in June, on what was his first attempt over 1m4f.
That’s unlocked potential clearly as he kept on nicely and his form last year behind the likes of High Point and ahead of Prepschool suggest he’s still well-weighted.
Megalithic
Was the closest runner to Teej A at Epsom in the Derby meeting and also has great form being behind Pont Neuf on debut.
This Wootton Bassett colt only has more potential stepping into this and should prove too good for the rest based on his runs so far.
Bountiful is close up in the odds but only won a Class 4 maiden fillies race at Thirsk last month to Eartha, but crucially with a 5lb claimer on board which she won’t have in this.
Jabaara
Evens favourite for this fillies listed stakes, the feature race of the day at Carlisle is Jabaara.
She beat Pinafore comfortably when stepping back up to 7f for the first time since August 2023 and is clearly in great condition, more so than as a two-year-old.
Jockey James Doyle has a decent strike rate of 7-41 over the last two weeks but it’s key to remember all his prominent places on big priced odds as well over the week too.
Jabaara also beat Soprano, who went on to win the Sandringham at Royal Ascot, beating 29 rivals while carrying the fourth-most weight, which really boosts Jabaara’s chances for this.
