New store opening in Wexford offering golden tickets to first 20 customers

Mr Price is opening a new store in Gorey on June 27.

The Irish discount retailer, Mr Price, will open a new store in Gorey on Thursday, June 27.

The new store will open at 12pm in Gorey Retail Park, Courtown Road, Wexford.

There are currently three Mr Price stores across Wexford in Wexford Retail Park, Enniscorthy and Bunclody. Marketing Director for Mr Price Laura Blighe said they’re delighted to be opening a fourth store in Wexford.

“We have taken over the vacant Iceland premises and created 25 new jobs locally and there has been a huge amount of interest from applicants looking to join the team. We sell a bit of everything from, cleaning, pet supplies, stationery and lots more, all at unparalleled low prices,” she said.

With 25 members of staff, the new Mr Price Gorey store is offering golden tickets for the first 20 customers that arrive at 12pm on Thursday, June 27 and promises free balloons, giveaways and more on opening day.

The fully Irish owned and operated retailer will now have 65 stores nationwide and employ over 1,600 staff.
