Can we expect to see Travis Kelce at the Eras Tour in Dublin? Here’s what we know

There have been a whole host of names that have popped up on Taylor Swift’s record-breaking Eras Tour so far.

We’ve seen the likes of Tom Cruise, Haim, Blake Lively, Andrew Scott and Emma Watson dancing in the VIP areas of the American’s performances so far.

Naturally, though, most of the Swiftie Army’s eyes have been focused on Taylor’s partner, Travis Kelce.

The Kansas City Chiefs star has been spied attending a number of shows already on the tour and with the European leg wrapping up this weekend in Dublin, we may yet see him in the Aviva Stadium.

Will Travis Kelce be in Ireland?

It’s more likely than not that we’ll get an appearance from the NFL star in the VIP tent at the Aviva.

He and his brother Jason have been spotted travelling the planet with Taylor, including at her most recent performances in Wembley, where other stars in the tent included our own Andrew Scott.

The big question is whether we’ll get a repeat of his surprise on-stage cameo in London, which saw the sports star wearing a suit and top hat as he carried Taylor across the stage in a skit that precedes her hit performance of ‘I Can Do It With a Broken Heart’.

During that skit, he gave a high-kick which is awfully reminiscent of what Americans do when they mention Ireland…

Does Travis Kelce have any Irish roots?

We don’t believe there are any direct links from Travis to the Emerald Isle — but his brother Jason has a looser one.

Jason’s wife Kylie Kelce was a frequent Irish dancer growing up in Philadelphia, with the brothers posting a clip of her taking part in a jig atop a balcony bar on St Patrick’s Day earlier this year.

That was the same weekend where we saw the recently-retired Jason sink a few pints of Guinness — making Dublin an absolutely perfect pit stop for the siblings before heading back to the US with Taylor next week.

What about the Kansas City Chiefs?

The Chiefs, who won the Super Bowl in February for the third time in the last five years with Travis being their top pass receiver, are currently in their off-season.

They held a mandatory minicamp for all of their players from June 11 to June 13 – which may explain why Travis hadn’t been spotted before then.

However, since those have now ended, he was free as a bird to pop up in Wembley, and could well do so again in the Aviva over the weekend.
