A parade to honor the University of South Carolina women’s basketball NCAA national championship victory was held in downtown Columbia on April 14, 2024.
COLUMBIA — South Carolina women’s basketball will headline the 2024 Women’s Fort Myers Tip-Off from Nov. 28-30 at Suncoast Credit Union Arena in Florida, revealing more information about the Gamecocks’ nonconference matchups.
The entire 2024-25 schedule has not yet been released but here is what to know so far about South Carolina’s season after winning the 2024 national championship.
South Carolina women’s basketball schedule 2024-25: Nonconference games so far
- Nov. 4: South Carolina will open its season in Las Vegas, facing Michigan.
- Nov. 10: The Gamecocks play NC State in the 2024 Ally Tipoff at the Spectrum Center in Charlotte. The Wolfpack lost to South Carolina in the 2024 Final Four in April.
- Nov. 24: South Carolina travels to California to play a nonconference match up against red-hot UCLA
- Nov. 28: In the first game of the Fort Myers Tip-Off, the Gamecocks face the Cyclones
- Nov. 30: South Carolina plays Purdue
- Dec. 5: South Carolina will host Duke for the ACC-SEC Challenge.
South Carolina women’s basketball 2024-25 SEC schedule
The dates of each specific SEC matchup have not yet been revealed but in May, the opponents were released.
South Carolina will host: Arkansas, Auburn, Florida, Kentucky, LSU, Oklahoma, Texas and Texas A&M.
The Gamecocks will travel to play: Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi State, Missouri, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Texas and Vanderbilt.
The only home-and-home series for South Carolina will be against SEC newcomer Texas.
