Uisce Eireann is working to restore water supply to parts of West Clare.
Homes and Businesses are without water this morning after a burst on the Old Doolough Public Water Supply.
Crews are working to restore normal service to customers in Miltown Malbay, Spanish Point, Quilty, Mullagh, Coore, Creegh, Cooraclare, Cahermurphy and surrounding areas.
Works are scheduled to be complete by 5pm this evening. Uisce Éireann recommends that customers allow two to three hours after repairs for normal supply to return.
Uisce Éireann’s Darragh Conneely assured customers that every effort is being made to carry out repairs as quickly as possible.
“We understand the inconvenience of an unplanned outage and we thank customers for their support while our crews work to ensure that a normal water supply is returned to all of our customers as quickly as possible.”
