A whole Lotto luck for Ireland’s latest millionaire as location of winning ticket revaled

An Irish Lotto player has become the seventh Daily Million top prize winner over the weekend following Sunday’s draw.

The winning numbers of the draw, which took place at 9pm on Sunday (June 16) were: 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35 and the bonus number was 05.

The National Lottery confirmed that the winner, who purchased their ticket in Dublin, has made contact, with arrangements currently underway for them to collect their life-changing winnings.

The store location will be revealed on Tuesday.

Sarah Orr, spokesperson for the National Lottery, said the team were ‘thrilled to hear from the winner first thing this morning. ‘

She said: ‘Arrangements are now being made for them to visit Lotto HQ to collect their life-changing amount.’

The win marks the 7th top prize winner in the game to date this year, with previous wins coming in from Cork, Dublin, Meath, Kildare and Kerry.

It comes not long after another Dublin player won a nice sum of money last week in the EuroMillions draw.

The player picked up €168,413 when they managed to match five numbers and one lucky star to take home the big win.

The ticket was bought as a Quick Pick ticket at Tuthill’s at 47 Tower Road in Clondalkin, Dublin 22.

Nearly 30 cent in every €1 spent on National Lottery games goes back to Good Causes in the areas of sport, youth, health, welfare, education, arts, heritage and the Irish Language.

In total, more than €6 billion has been raised for Good Causes since the National Lottery was establish 36 years ago.

In 2022, €259.5 million was raised for local Good Causes in communities across Ireland.
