After-parties and packed line-up for Limerick venue
A LIMERICK venue has announced a packed line-up of leading DJs this weekend – and the official Liam Gallagher after party.
The Commercial has announced a series of shows as part of The Sevens, where a number of select DJ sets and conversations will take place in the basement Record Room across 2024, with more dates and artists to be announced later in the year.
On Friday, July 12, regarded DJ and award-winning film composer David Holmes will play in the Record Room, with support from Arveene.
This follows David’s release of his first solo album in 15 years, Blind On A Galloping Horse.
On Saturday, July 13, Donal Dineen will bring Backstory Dances to the Record Room.

With an already-established reputation as one of the country’s best DJs, and wanting to find a home and dance floor for the kind of music he was unearthing in record stores worldwide, Backstory began in 2015.
To close the weekend, Paul Gallagher will host an exclusive after-party following his brother’s show in Thomond Park. The Record Room will welcome tour DJ and eldest Gallagher brother Paul for a late night post-show celebration after the stadium show.
Paul is a DJ, photographer and promoter who has toured with Liam for a decade.
With more dates and artists to be announced for later in the year, The Commercial, Catherine Street, Limerick welcomes David, Donal and Paul to the Record Room basement for The Sevens – a series of shows inviting artists back to Limerick, or to the city for the first time.
