Al-Ahly Tripoli wins Libyan Basketball League for an eighth time

Al-Ahly Tripoli won the Libyan Basketball League title for the eighth time in its history, after defeating Al-Hilal (101-71) at the Great Hall in Tripoli on Saturday evening, as part of the final round of the seven-round tournament for the 2023-2024 season.

With this victory, Al-Ahly Tripoli raised its score to 22 points, leading the standings of the seven-round teams to win the Basketball League title, while Al-Ahly Benghazi came in second place with 21 points, so that the title ultimately went to Al-Ahly Tripoli.

After the match, the Libyan Basketball Federation handed over the Libyan League Cup to the Al-Ahly Tripoli team, in the presence of a number of figures, led by the Minister of Sports, Abdel Shafi Al-Juwaifi, the President of the Olympic Committee, Jamal Al-Zarrouq, and the President of the Libyan Basketball Federation, Fuad Barghash.
