Aldi and Lidl jobs in Cornwall including one that pays up to £62k

If you’re on the hunt for a new job in Cornwall, Aldi and Lidl currently have dozens of roles up for grabs across the county. Well renowned for good pay, the budget supermarkets are looking to hire more people of all levels of experience to fill vacant roles across the county.

Positions are available in a number of locations in Cornwall, from Penzance to Wadebridge, and a number of different roles are up for grabs. Whether it’s a career starter apprenticeship, which allows you to balance theory with practical store work to gain a qualification, or a deputy manager’s role, where you’ll be in charge in the absence of the store manager and assistant store manager, there’s something for everyone.

Store Cleaner

Locations: Truro, Redruth, Newquay, St Austell, Wadebridge, Bodmin, Liskeard

Description: This role will see you tackle things like removing litter and debris from the car park and loading bay, washing external windows and glass doors, or making sure the trolleys are clean and free of rubbish.

Pay: £12.00 per hour

Career Starter Stores

Locations: Redruth, Newquay, St Austell, Wadebridge, Bodmin, Liskeard

Description: This career starter apprenticeship allows you to learn something different every day in a fast-paced environment. Balancing theory with practical store work, you’ll be expected to work hard on this one-year programme. By the end of the year, you will be able to gain a Level 2 Retail qualification and work as a fully-fledged store assistant with real opportunities for progression in the future.

Pay: £8.44 per hour

Store Assistant

Locations: Redruth, Newquay, Camborne, St Austell, Wadebridge, Bodmin, Liskeard

Description: You’ll do everything from checking off deliveries to dealing with enquiries or ensuring that the shelves are fully stocked with well-presented products. You’ll also provide excellent customer service at all times by attending to customer needs in a prompt and friendly way.

Pay: £12.40 – £13.35 per hour

Store Management Apprentice

Locations: Redruth, Newquay, Camborne, St Austell, Wadebridge, Bodmin, Liskeard

Descriptions: Balancing theory with practical store work, you’ll be expected to work hard on this three-year programme. By the end of the three years, you will be able to gain a Level 3 Retail Team Leader qualification and be working as a fully-fledged deputy store manager with real opportunities for progression in the future.

Pay: £8.44 – £11.83 per hour

Deputy Manager

Locations: Newquay, St Austell, Wadebridge, Bodmin

Description: In the absence of the store manager and assistant store manager, you’ll be fully in charge of the store, gaining valuable experience to help you take your next step in management. It means you’ll tackle everything from ordering stock to training employees, and from checking product displays to delivering sales targets.

Pay: £13.65 – £14.60 per hour (You will also receive an additional premium of £4.00 per hour whilst running the store)

Stock Assistant

Locations: St Austell, Wadebridge, Bodmin, Liskeard

Description: In this role you’ll need to keep stock losses to a minimum, help out with inventory counting, check off deliveries and ensure the shelves are fully stocked with attractive, well presented products. You’ll also need to provide excellent customer service at all times by attending to customer needs in a prompt and friendly way.

Pay: £12.00 per hour

Customer Assistant

Locations: Saltash, Falmouth, Hayle, Wadebridge, Penzance, St Austell

Description: As a customer assistant, no two shifts are the same. From restocking shelves to jumping on tills, you’ll keep moving, keep business booming and never be bored. Pay: £12.40 – £13.00 per hour

Retail Shift Manager

Location: Pool

Description: From motivating your team to taking responsibility for the shop floor, you’ll keep the store running like clockwork, thriving in a fast-paced and challenging environment.

Pay: £14.00 – £14.50 per hour

Store Manager (Area Support)

Location: St Austell

Description: From taking ownership of your store and keeping customers happy to developing and inspiring your team, you’ll lead from the front and guide us toward success. You’ll find plenty of challenges and with them, the thrill of seeing your hard work pay off; hitting targets, solving problems and championing your team to reach their full potential.

Pay: £46,000 – £62,000 per annum
